Thanks Ricardo,
Now I see... looks like a good deal... the info on the site wasn't real clear to what you get. I should send Luiz an email asking him to bullet point out what is included at all 5 levels for on the website. It's just a bit sketchy.... I am also interested in what Jim is going to say about the passport kit. I didn't get a chance to order a T-Can yet, I will call Luiz on tuesday. I just like the looks of the osmose, I like the long nose line and more rear placed canopy. I think Jim's scheme really works well. |

Jim or anyone that would know,
What is the weight of the 3 1/" CA Models carbon spinner? Also, is that weight without a cutout for a prop? Plane looks great Jim, I'm glad it's working out for you. Ryan |

I don't even compete in pattern (I do fly IMAC), but I find myself wanting one of these real bad. I would do it electric. The kits are pretty reasonable, but the ARFS are really expensive, and there is no way I can build one. Oh well, I guess I'll keep my out for a used one, but I will have one some day.

HI Guys,
I have 26 flights on the plane now and after fixing the cooling issue, the performance has been awesome with zero issues. Last evening I switched back to try the 20% Heli Cool Power, going 3 clicks leaner on the top end too. Given the winds from Monday (7 fliigths 30% fuel), and Tuesday (2 flights 20%), I really can't see a big difference between the in flight performance. The 170 is making huge power regardless of the 20 or 30% fuels. Thanks, Jim

49 flights on the plane now and it is flying really well. The YS 170 is crank'n smoooooooooooth power and life is good so far with the plane. There is not too much vibration and so far, the whole plane is staying tight. P09/F09 are coming around nicely.
Thanks, Jim

Awesome Jim... glad to hear you like it.
![]() I'm in Sweden now... all I'm waiting for now is my charger and batteries to be delivered, then the Genesis is in the air. Hell, I might even make it to a contest in October!

Just and update - 67 flights in 24 days - new record for me. I did my best 2-roll rolling loops and knife-edge loops, and 1/2 loop with opposite rolls last night. Its kind of weird to see these circus maneuvers actually looking like a precision maneuver. I'm currently adjusted around 1/4 degree positive on the wing, and zero on the stab - then a slight up/down twist on the left and right stab to adjust out rudder mix. At this point, yaw effect have these mixes: zero elevator to rudder left or right rudder, 2% left aileron to Left rudder, zero aileron to Right Rudder. Also, a 2% down elevator mix to lowest throttle position. The T-cannalizer is staying put and the YS 170 is still crank'n!!!
Also - the CF spinner doesn't have a permanent mark on it after all these starts - so far so good ![]() Thanks, Jim

Hi Guys,
I few more shots of the plane. Location is an "exclusive" no-outlet frontage road adjacent to a 4 lane highway near my house . Suffice to say, the 2.4 FASST works just fine in this enviornment. The airspace is opposite the highway, and is directly over the everglades. She is all boxed up now and ready to head to Bogota Colombia for the South American Open Championships. I'll have Wednesday and Thursday for practice, with the competition spanning Friday through Sunday. thanks, Jim

So basically, you don't want to lose it out there. You may never find it again, or you never know who you may find sitting next to it when you do find it. :-)
