Default New Aero-Works 75cc Extra 260

Here are a few pics of the 75cc Extra 260. Unfortunatley I don't have the specs yet but they will be on the plane at Toledo.

this would be perfect for that DA 75 that hasn't come out. Perhaps we'll see a DA 75 in Toledo???

If it's anything like their 75cc Yak, it's gonna be 95-96" span, around 1650 squares and 21-22 pounds before spending money on CF. They have a video on their website of the Yak to give you some idea of what to expect with this plane...

It will REALLY REALLY be nice to have aile servo slot between the two as an option for 1 hitec 5955's instead of two. Is this possible on all 50-75CC class birds?

Would a 3W 75US be enough to get 3D power out of this airframe?

The problem with that "option" is that it is added weight for the guys using dual servos and the extra reinforcement required around those ribs and the extra wood for the additional servo bay would make it a weight advantage in grams, if any, for the guys that only ran one servo. I discussed this at length with Rocco and I tend to agree with him.
However, fear not! He says he sees no problem with running just one 250+ oz/in servo in the inner servo bay. The ailerons are plenty stiff - it is what I plan to do. The dual servo option is really for the budget guys that may have some cheap 75oz/in servos lyin' around and don't want to buy more high dollar servos. So actually, Aerowerks was thinking about a wide range of customers!

In that case, how about making both servo bays a little bit closer to center and to each other so even if you use one, it won't be too far off to a side?

I agree, but the I/B servo bay is actually located out far enough to make it doable right now. The alierons are pretty rigid, so I wouldn't worry too much about flex.
