I have 100% respect for EF and Chris. I dealt with him one time and he was great.

I was simply stating facts about other ARF companies. I am not saying that EF 42% will suck if it doesn't meet those finishing standards. I was originally just giving an opinion on what I thought a reasonable price range was for this plane considering the economy and what the rest of the market is offering. That's it.

Yeah everyone's having a hard time with the economy right now. It's just to bad that the economy situation doesn't change what it costs to produce and get these planes here. I give all the companies credit for pushing forward with new designs and taking the risk they are, it could make or break them. We're in for some cool new planes from Extreme Flight in the near future, I'm sure everyone will be very excited and happy.

Well, all the pricing stuff apart, the airplane looks really good. My only concern is the placement of the fuel tank which (to me) looks like is in front of the CG. Besides that the airplane look awesome. If my Compy goes to the heavens of R/C airplanes (which this last Saturday almost happened), this will be a real good option to consider.

Great job on the design, and best of luck with the airplane.

Knowing Chris's line of products that he already has, I am sure this is going to be a winner. I was bummed when it didn't make it to the Nall last year. Hopefully Ill get to give it a good once over this year if it makes it to the show. As for the price, as long as I don't have to build it from a box of sticks, im pretty sure it will be reasonable. As with anything, you tend to get what you pay for. There is a huge price range for 40% arfs and what this Extra's price will be, I have no idea. But I bet he sells every last one of them and has a list for the next order as was the case with several other of the top 40% arfs out there...
