I think the deal is the planes are long lost cousins. SD borrowed many of Chris's designs. He had a couple of prototype 150cc Yaks that were basically a variation of SD Models or vice versa. One of the unique things about the EF 123" Extra is it will have pocket hinges on the ailerons. The Pilot RC extras do not. Chris told me a while ago the relationship between EF and SD / TOC / Pilot...but I dont remember the details...but regardless...some of the Pilot RC planes have EF blood in them... Im sure Chris or Curtis can clarify this.
