Hey guys just wanted to give you an update on the Extra. We flew the crap out of the final version this week at the Nall, the changes Chris made to it worked out great, it's flying even better than the original proto that we were flying at Huckfest. Guys this plane is awesome!!!!! Hopefully someone got some video of us flying it. I know we've all been waiting for a long time and some of you are getting tired of waiting, but I assure you this plane will make you happy and once you get it in the air you'll see it was worth the wait. Chris is running the DA 170 with 1090's swinging a Mejzlik 32-10, that motor's ripping the crap out of the prop and the plane's a rocket, more than enough power. The plane's right at 40lbs. and 3D's like a foamy, yet is super solid, locked in and crisp thru sequence flying. Chris is heading to China very soon and we should be seeing the planes in the near future.

I was surprised when I saw under the canopy of the finished plane. Chris really out did himself with all the refinements. I liked the way the wings bolt in and the way the cowl mounts. I could definitely see one of these planes in my garage.
