They can give all there "Big name RC plane guys" their planes..... They can have them.... For me, If I can’t get off the phone with EF and feel “POSITIVE”, I am off to greener pastures..... YEah....I know.....BLAAH BLAAH BLAAH BLAAH....

Your not the only one who has been waiting a very long time for this plane so don't feel singled out.

Jkoch, I know that it's hard waiting, but Extreme Flight can't do anything about the Chinese new year. The plane has been a long time coming, but it's close. I know that Chris and the rest of the crew are doing their utmost to produce the best plane possible and that's what they're doing. Good things come to those who wait.
What I'm saying is, please don't go off like that in public. I know it takes patience, but some things are out of their control, and the other delays were because they found something that they could improve. I will not throw out any names, but there are some companies out there that are having terrible structural failures as well as other problems. I feel good knowing that when Extreme Flight finally brings the airplane to the public, it will already be proven and solid. Personally, I have nothing but good to say about them and want to thank them for doing such an excellent job.

We have many very loyal customers who believe in the products, that's why we see so many people defending Extreme Flight. I'm very lucky to be a member of the Extreme Flight Team, that is why you see me posting information in the threads and trying to keep everyone informed of the latest information. There is nothing that Chris and the crew would like more than to have all the new planes in stock and have an unlimited supply for eveyone. All I can say is just stand by, cool new planes are coming and will be well worth the wait.

2. I'm defending an amazing product that is sold/designed by a great company.

It's funny you mention you get upset when people start defending EF,I am the opposite. I get pissed when people like you degrade a company thats having some growing pains.If the wait is to long,go buy another plane and stop crying. It's a model airplane,get over it and grow some patients.

Here's the best part. I don't even own an EF plane.I'm just a fan.....

Are you referring to Chinese New Year 2009 or 2010 causing the delay in shipment. My buddy took his name off the list in February 2009 because he was tired of waiting.

As someone who works in the region I know that Chinese New Year IS a massive deal in China. The country basically comes to a standstill and many factory's shut down for the whole month. Many workers in these factory's come from rural areas and it is the one time they are free to return home to see their wives, kids and families. Whether this is the main reason for the delay to these planes I don't know, but I am sure it is a big factor.

That said this plane has been a long time coming, I have a colleague here in the UK who has one of the first pre-production planes from the original distributor here, about 18 months ago. EF do seem to be very diligent and do not release a product to the general community until they feel it is right, trouble is we see a few of these birds around and everyone wants it now!!

BTW we do have a few here in Blighty now, just wish I had the spare cash to get one

At the end of the day I am sure it will be worth it for those who can wait

I know that 3 HF/ 2HF/ Last one all in Atlanta, I ask Melissa whenever a list is started keep my name on it. The plane being put through different designs and testing to get an awesome plane, is well worth the wait!----------IMO

Don't you people complaining think EF wants the planes to come in as soon as possible too? You'd rather they sell you a prototype than do thorough testing and fixing issues? Seriously, don't bother complaining. There are plenty of other choices out there. Some of them have never even been flown by the guy selling them to you. But they are in stock and ready to ship. Go for it!

Right on! There are several companies out there at let their customers due the test flying... You see them get asked questions and they dont even know the answers regarding their own products! needless to say, I wont be buying any of their products.

I tend to stick with the companies run by what I consider the good guys. Can there be a wait at times, sure, but at least I know that what I am getting is quality.
