![]() I have my Supergear on the way. The 41% Wildhare gear is a dead match to the Dalton gear dimension wise. It will have carbon fiber all the way around and Hitec 7950s all over even on the throttle. A DA 170 on mufflers will power it though its rigorous 3D and freestyle routines. I will run the Smartfly power expander pro with Fromco Black jack liop packs (no regulators) I will be starting on the second Dalton next week as all my servos are on back order until March.AHHHHHHHHH!!! I think I will do the same Aeroworks scheme on the next one.I just like them simple ,clean ,crisp looking scheams.... I will have you know I originally wanted a EF 123'' Extra! If I can build two Dalton's before the EF comes out and have them both ready to fly, then by God thats what I am gonna do. ![]() DALTON BABY! EF too one of these days.... ....I hope.

Thanks guys, yes it is no joke. This is my first build other than putting together big ARFs and already built Cardens. Glassing the canopy hatch was a cinch too. This stuff is much easier than I ever thought. I just dove right in with no fear. I figure what ever I mess up I will re do ,but never messed anything up.
I owe it all to you FG members for the wealth of info in the build threads. I have always wanted to build one and love reading all the build threads. I used to cringe at the word "incidence" but I am loving my Aeroperfect incidence meeter......Im not afraid anymore. ![]() How many of you want to see a build thread on the next one I am getting ready to build? (don't answer that.)Lets get back on topic with the new EF 123" !!!!!!!! I want too see some more updates and 3D vids!!!! Last edited by buttface; 01-09-2009 at 07:35 PM. |

I ordered some contest grade AAA 3/4'' planks for capping the trailing edges of the wings, stabs, and rudder post http://www.nationalbalsa.com/balsa.htm . I highly recommend this if you are going for 3D throws. I still used 1/2'' to cap the leading edges of all the surfaces.Don't do it the other way around or it will just push your control horn 1/4'' further back from the hinge line and thus cause more offset at the servo arm to get proper geometry.
