Default seagull edge 540 .60?

I have a seagull edge 540 .60 with a OS .61FX in it and it is very underpowered, and I was wondering if the .91FX would be good for this plane?

Thanks,Julian

A buddy of mine had one of these planes with the 91 and he felt that it was underpowered. He put a saito 125 in it and then crashed it on its first flight with that engine. So I can't tell you if that was the ultimate setup or not. I hope this helps.

flew it some years ago with a 91fx and it was just sorta scale power - put a ys110 in and it was a lot better - its a very nice plane but not for real 3d by todays standards

I have an OS91 in my edge. It easily crests 90mph and will climb vertically until I can't see it anymore. I run a 13-8 to a 14-8 prop depending on the weather. I turns at 12000 rpm on the ground

I bought the .91 and put it in and it was awsome power......until a deadstick cross-wind landing.Wasn't good. Ripped the gear out and most of the wood in the general area. I'm looking at either the new aeroworks extra 260 or the wild hare baby extra 260.
