Most companies work that way, it doesn't always make everyone happy but that's the way it is. An example would be using more than 6 volts on a servo that isn't rated for that. I hope you can come to some kind of agreement, they are a great company, good luck.

Anyway, I think there was some miscommunication, I hope that it can be worked out, I have had nothin but good dealings with Horizon. Again sorry for the problems ya'll are having and good luck!
Horizon was told that it was the old v1 from the start i wanted to make that clear. but thanks for all of your concerns.

Do you realize the zdz super 80 or the da 85 has as much or more power than this bme 102
You are 100% correct - the 102 is a TURD!!!! So they definitely can't say you overpowered it. They definitely used that as an excuse. Just goes to show that some of Horizon's CSR's don't have a clue. The 102 only swings a 26X10 at about 6,000, maybe 6100 RPM - about what most 80cc singles will turn it at.

Good to hear.
Makes you feel kinda silly (I hope it does) by slamming them on the internet when they didnt do things as you had hoped for right off the bat.

Regardelss of whether you think the 102 is a turd or not, bottom line is the plane was using a motor that was out of the recomended range.
They didnt have to do anything for you but the fact that they did shows what a great company they are.

They did the stand up thing that most people have come to love about horizon. I dont realy feel like I slammed anyone, these sites like flying giants allows us the consumer to have some sort of checks and balances that are needed in every aspect of our lives.(I wish our government thought the same way)
