I prefer the Xoar 23x8. DA-50, KS 1060 standard setup and mine pulls out good on 105+ days that I have flown. I have flown a friend's that was using a 23x10 and it pulled out just a good. Although his had to much speed for me.

There a at least 10 good props for this setup.

To me there is not another 50cc Extra in the same class as these as JoeAirPort stated IMHO.

As for the big cowling on the Yak, that huge bucket up there slows you down on the downlines! A huge PLUS IMHO.

Extreme Flight YAK or Extra hands down! largest 50cc plane and excellent flight characteristics, you wont be disappointed with either one.

I just finished a 2.12 compy Extra. DL50, MTW75 canister etc.
Flys well but not as good as my 2.3 Compy in some respects.
We have an Extreme Flight Extra 88" at our club with DL50 on a MTW pipe.
Flies really nice.
Bigger is better.

Extreme Flight Extra 300 DA 50 w/Menz 23x8 MTW RE2 tuned pipe .... I love mine and it will just blow out of a hover on a 100+ degree day.... absolutley great flying airplane. only problem I have had is I had to make tailwheel bracket for mine out of aluminum ( grass field kept breaking mine).

I'm digging the build of my new 3DHS Extra - I've flown one before and loved it but can't really compare it to anything else. I'll keep you posted when I get mine in the air. I can tell you that it's very high quality and comes with alot of carbon! I'm going DL-50 with a MTW can.

Oh, I should add: I haven't flown their Katana but I've seen the two side by side and couldn't even believe they were powered by the same engine - the extra is HUGE compared to the Katana. It looked like a totally different animal.

EF definitely! Chris is one of the nicest and most polite guys I have ever met.

In regard to EF customer service . . . I needed a set of replacement stabilizers for my EF Extra 300 to get it in the air. Chris did not have any in stock that fit that particular fuselage. So . . . he took the stabilizers off his personal plane (which were hinged, control horns and base plates installed, servo holes drilled and notched for the servo wire) and sent them to me. He had to modify a pair of stabilizers to fit his plane as the anti-rotation pins and mounts did not line up with his fuselage, hinge it, install the control horns and base plates, etc.
Now that's customer service at the highest level!

That thing looks awesome. I didn't like the schemes at first, but now I think they're badass. Should be another winner from AW and you can't beat the QB aspect.

I love those schemes because they are scale. It's hard to find an ARF without a ridiculous color scheme these days. See ugliest plane thread.

I have the WH 28% extra 300 with 3W-55 power.

Excellent build quality and outstanding flight characteristics.
I'd recommend one hands down.
