I've watched that vid many times and I laugh at the other girl's expression every time. I wonder who cleaned the plane when they landed.

I always wondered if the pilot did it on purpose.

HOLY COW! I actually believe I personally would have zero conscience toward helping clean that cockpit.

That pilot over stepped the boundary of heartless IMO- if he was aware of the degre of distress being experienced in that back seat.

Pilot In Command is still the PIC even after parking. It's his job to "tidy up", and in that case, he deserved it. It's all fun and games to show off a little and maybe make a couple friends nervous for a moment, but you should never just set out to scare the ever living hell out of someone like that. She'll never fly again and will spread the word on how scary it is, possibly deterring others from ever giving it a try. That's a good way to give aviation a bad name.
Now on a serious note, that was funny!

Two of the worst things in aviation:
1 A pilot trying to impress somebody
2 A pilot trying to impress another pilot

I wonder just how much they were pulling? 9g maybee?

And 9g is a lot. That's 9x your body weight. The fighter pilots and the Red Bull pilots make it look like a lot less.

IDK, the turns seemed pretty gentle, but they were banking steep-ish.

Blue Angels don't pull 9 G's

This was 7g max. Most people will black out around 6g's if they do not strain properly (along with no G-suit since the Angels fly without them). As you can tell there is more to it then holding your breath. Infact you actually have to keep breathing and squeezing and at the same time not squeeze your chest. A little tricky at first but its self critiquing if you do it wrong.

Everyone has a G tolerance where they will black out if they don't do the techniques.....that is what the centrifuge is for. One, to find out your resting tolerance TWO to show you what it feels like to just about black out so you can try to fix it and THREE to perform the technique correctly.......not to mention that you have to pass the fuge without blacking out to train in your particular MDS
