I can't believe it is over! Wow what a great event again this year. Was flying from Thursday afternoon until 3 pm on Sunday. Other than super high humidity on Friday the weather was awesome with not a cloud in the sky on both Sat and Sun. Plenty of sunscreen was in order! The event was definantly more laid back with everyone getting plenty of time to fly whatever they wanted. Lots more jets this year and the crowd really enjoyed all the performances. The warbird showing on Saturday was one of the best we've had with I think 12 or more in the air at once. The DOGS event draws up to 10,000 spectators and Saturday was packed as usual. Everyone seemed to enjoy the show including the little kids who stampeded out for the candy drop courtesy of Peter Goldsmith. Sorry I don't have any pictures but Dar Cline was taking great photos as always and we'll get those up as soon as we can.

Guys, Dar didn`t do photos this year but many were shooting away so please post if you have them. We do have a cd coming from the "other guys" so I`ll post when received. You should really try to visit to experience the event as it`s happening as there is not a better flying site anywhere.
A fantastic weekend with great weather, good friends and super airshow pilots that kept a good mix of aircraft flying all day long. Thanks to all the loyal pilots and vendors that attended and we`ll do it bigger and better next year!

Thanks to the DOGS for another fine weekend with lots of flying and superb weather. Could not ask for any better.

Check out this turbine powered Huey. Man....if it didn't look real in flight . There were some very nice jets, warbirds and aerobatic planes. Everyone, I think, got enough flying with only a few mishaps.

I rode up on Saturday and was only there for a little while. Since it looks like no one took pictures, I will go ahead and post these. It looked like everyone was having a lot of fun. Clover Creek took a lot of people away who normally would have attended. Still, the crowd was big and everyone was enjoying it. A LOT more jets this year.....and BEER!!!!

There are quite a few pics of Billy's Turbine powered Huey. I guess my gen 4 yaks new scheme didnt get much reaction to get pictured lol.

I was flying my yak on thursday night while some guys were testing their plane mounted video system. They said they got some great footage on their screens of my flight from high up but then said they wernt taping lol.

Thanks To All the Pilots and thier Families that made the Trek to the Dayton Ohio Giant Scalers AirShow this year. All the DOGS members enjoyed hosting another GREAT event. We are looking forward to seeing you & a couple of your flying buddies that didn't make it this year next year.

Ouch thats a rare but still stinging Stek burn. Here I thought it was the JR servo for you

I forgot about the green masking tape hinge line tape experiment. It going to be replaced with the correct color ultra coat soon so no worries.

Glad you liked that one. Heck.....My fingers are still burning from that servo. LOL !

Yea, getting the right colors will help and I know you will get some graphics soon also, Heck....I bet most people did not even know that was a gen 4 from QQ.
