Default Real Flight?? Vista??

I just got a new laptop. It is Toshiba laptop with 4g of memory and 64 bit. I can install my old reg G3. But When I go to upgrade it to g3.5 it comes up with a error saying it wont work with 64 bit. Just wondering if any of you had this problem. Just got off the phone with RF and they didnt help too much

Might be 3.5 upgrade installer trying to use some old code... I generally keep my clients away from 64 bit desktops for the exact reason you're complaining.

I refused to upgrade....so I don't use Vista, but I believe that you can run programs in a 32 bit compatibility mode....

is there a way in Vista to create a shortcut for the installer and then force the installer to run in 32bit mode?

(you rooming with Jamie?)

I normally use a Apple IMAC computer to surf web and do my web work video, photos etc. But real flight is like the only game I play on a computer and the only reason I got a Windows Laptop was so I could play real flight on there.

Well, why the heck did you get a 64bit? Take a look at the RF support forums if you haven't already.
