Default QQ 102 GIII....some minor problems

Well I have had my QQ 102 GIII for a year now and probably midway through this past year I notice the plane has gone down hill fast!!! To start off I had a canopy fly off of mine and it hit the ground and busted. I called QQ Co up and I order a new one. Well I decided to fix the old one because it was only crack in three spots that could be fix. Just would not look as good. So I used this same canopy for about 2 months then decided to throw the new one on. Right out of the box I put this one on. Look great. well after the very first flight the canopy bowed up in the front for some odd reason and I notice two cracks on each side. This was at a IMAC meet and my friend was borrowing my airplane and he quickly fixed it. I am just thinking to my self boy brand new canopy I bought and it has two cracks and a big bow in the front after one flight!!! Plus the back former was loose!!!

Second thing I have notice since the 4th month I had the plane was a clear laminent over the covering started to peal off. I iron this plane all down before starting working with it by the way. This clear laminent pealed in flight and also pealed parts of the color off the covering. There were also some small parts i had to use scotch take to tape it down so it wont peal anymore off.

Landing gear has pain crack all around it. Luckily most is on the bottom and you cant see it but it is pealing very badly.

The Cowl is also has paint cracks all around and looks bad right now.

Guys I am not bashing this plane it is just I expected better lasting airframe and I havnt really flown this plane that hard. I know as soon as this plane came out I got it and was just wondering if the first production run just had a few problems because a friend of mine hasnt had near as many problems as me.

As for flying it flies great. The CG is off a bit due to a heavier older 3w up in the front but it has the power.

Only thing that bugs me is I havnt put nearly as many flights as I have on other ARFS or kits and they lasted a while!!!

All minor details. I have had similar experiences with other manufactures. Iron out the wrinkles, so to speak.

Well I am very upset how my Brand New Canopy did. Only one flight and gets cracks??? I dont know how the AW Yak last. (I just got the 150cc version) But I hope it last longer than this QQ. Covering is about the only thing I could possibly fix to make it look a bit better but the cowl, landing gear, wheel pants, and canopy makes the plane look all beat up!!!

I would think QQ Aircraft could do more to help you with these issues than anyone else on this website. Did you call them first?
