Default Newest Flying Buddy!

Just had to share these photos. Came out into the living room to find my 18 month old son acting like he was out at the field. He has one of my older son's toy planes and a remote to some car he has. Even tried to start the plane like dad does LOL. Looks like a natural to me. What do you guys think?? Did this all on his own by the way.

thats a Great feeling ... and also about the time I gave my son his first plane, now at the age of 7 he can out fly most of the "adults " at the fields and Loves to fly in big events,Huckfest's,Joe Nall, and all the events that we do in Fl.Keep him going ,just don't force him .Let him do it on his own time frame and it will come faster.

Yep they both play a little on the sim. I learned old school with the transmitter hand-off method. I will be using a little of the sim, hand-off and buddy box. I can't wait till they can fly solo exciting times!

I agree with you're method.I to was taught old school. The sim works good ,but there is nothing like flying at the field. You're next great step , after solo's ,is when you do not have to buy glow fuel anymore. They are flying Gas.

This is my son he is 11 yrs. old. I'm really very proud of him. Ever since my accident he has been helping me out at the flying field. He has really got involved with the planes. He has gotten real good on his trainer now were getting him involved with gas planes.
Here's a picture of him and his plane.

That's awesome that he helps you out like that. I just hope the boys keep motivated and interested. So far so good. We are flying Sunday and he is really looking forward to it.
