Personal hovercraft are awkward to control. You can either use the fan to inflate the skirt or propel the craft. The problem is that when you steer, the craft yaws, but it continues on it's original path until the engine's thrust pushes the hovercraft in the intended direction. So if there's something in the way, you can either hit it and die, or throttle back, and be ejected from the craft as the frame digs in... and die.

Either way, it would be cool.

There's not much to hit on water.

I will try to draw up plans, but they will most likely be very crude.

Here's my idea.

Ur prolly gonna need another fan and transmission to inflate the skirt, but I think they can be run off 1 engine. TGIF!

Nice picture. I do see the idea. I have heard of using a powerful shop vac or leaf blower to inflate the skirt.
