Good move asking for feedback from non sponsored users, though I'm sure they will chime in anyway.

A visitor passing through flew at our field one day. Not a bad looking or flying plane.
I would retract my previous comment now that I've seen it.
Overall I'd say not bad.

I think it looks easy to cover, anybody seen any weights on this bird? Is there any room to put it on a diet?

I think the scheme is gay. If I were to buy one, a recover would be in order.

Anyone have any weights? I would want to put a piped BME 116 on the plane, should I build one.

I hope they don't. They are like walking model aircraft news reviews.. all positive, little truth. However, I'm starting to realize that nobody has bought these planes.

There's got to be a reason for that.

Like my son (Chucku) said earlier in the thread, we are putting one together and it will have a DA150 with standard mufflers. There is no pipe tunnel built into the plane so adding Greves would require major modifications. I'm keeping things as light as possible so I expect it will come in around 35-36 lbs. We were expecting to maiden it next weekend but we are still waiting on a new rudder since the one with the kit suffered a minor puncture. Great Planes responded quickly and is getting a new one out ASAP.

The monokote covering is nice but I wished they had other schemes available. The kit does come pretty complete and it makes for a fast build. No major issues yet with the build. (knock on balsa!)

That sucks about the pipe tunnel! You should do a build thread!
