Hi, I am new to giant scale and am in the process of picking out my first! I am thinking about the QQ Yak 86". I have a oppurtunity to purchase a 3W-55IUS at a good price and wonder if it would be a good combination? It might be a little heavier than the DA-50 but it also has a tad bit more power. Does the QQ require any nose weight that might be offset by the heavier 3W? Any help would be great!!
Thanks, Chris |

yes...the 86" need a alor of nose wait when you use th DA50...somethink like 300-400g on the nose...but if you use cans (with the DA)it will balance your plane perfect! and it will fly great
![]() How much the 3W heavier then the DA? Daniel

You'll be fine with that engine and have plenty of room to move the batteries to get the CG where you like it.
