We have a great thread on the East R/C version of this plane http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/f...ld-thread.html

I have the 43 in mine, it is not lacking any power.... I am using a NiMh 3000 6V pack behind the canopy on the radio, just because I needed the weight to balance with the 43 and Pitts muffler. On ignition I am running an 1100 A123. The original intention was to run the 1100 A123's on both to play with them, but that didn't work out......

Oh, East R/C has the manual on-line http://www.eastrc.org/manuals/yak54.pdf It has the CG at 135 mm "5 1/3" inches from the leading edge at the fuse....

Good luck !
