It's a 16 oz tank. Reason being that the model was intended for a Saito 1.20 or G23. That Saito could gulp the alky, I guess. I got two flights on the G26 on one tankful and had gas to spare. I'm still looking for the H9 Taylorcraft that was the Cub's stablemate. Got an MVVS 26cc waiting for it. No dice so far.... Enjoy the Cub. It's a good flier. CR |

Also pinged my flying buddy that has the H9 Cessna, same powerplant. He's getting almost a half hour out of a 500cc tank.
16 it is! (off to the internet to spend money...)

Well, flew it Saturday at Whittier Narrows - not a warbird by any means, but a hell of a lot of fun. First flight was with the 18x6W, flew great at about 1/3 to 1/2 throttle. Swapped to a 16x8 APC, flew the second flight at about half throttle - better response on the 18x8, so I think I'll pick up a wood prop and go with that.
15 minutes on about 8 oz of fuel! Doing the final prep work on Friday night I found that even with a G26/magneto I was still tail heavy - discovered that the previous owner had added almost a pound of weight in the tail. Once I managed to remove that - CG came out fine. Need to figure out how to add a platform in the main bay for a "pilot" to sit on.

Hi Jeff,
There are a couple of templates for the front & rear cabin floors in the manual. I sold my Cub to a guy from the Phoenix area and gave him the manual. Maybe I can put you in touch with him, if you want. CR |

I'll have to look - believe it or not, the plane actually had an original manual with it (which I only looked in to find CG). I'm thinking of a dachshund head for a pilot, as Oscar the Wonderwienerdog is a bit too big to fit in the cabin
![]() Going to set up an Elev-Flap mix in the 9C for it, have a bunch of little things on my list (like a red spinner) - but this is looking like a "charge battery, put gas in and fly" plane so far
