Default Model Sports, Dave/Brian McFarlane Robbed

Hey Guys,

On August 20th Model Sports's storage facility was broken into and large quantity of models and other equipment was stolen. All modelers are asked to be aware of this. If ou are offered models or become aware of the trade in models in a way that seems a bit suspect please contact Brian or David McFarlane ASAP (Bus Hrs 0242855221, AH 0242846611).The list of items stolen is as follows.

what do these people think we are all idiots and dont speak about things like this happening and tell the people who owned it when they start offering a deal to good to be true. hope they catch them and flog them within an inch of their lives F*&%$@g, A*&^%$#@(S and thats being polite!!!!

How would these low life's off load all this stuff?
The model community in AUS is too small not too notice cheap planes on the market.
Alarm systems, truck to move it all.
It wasn't a new shipment was it?
Something in there that should not be there? that Model sports did not know about!

Holy crap - they didn't muck around.... There are some good models there. Will also keep a look out to see if stuff is getting pawned off up here in the NT.

I hope Brian and Dave don't suffer too badly, that said, it is thousands of dollars worth of gear there. I can't believe there are people within the R/C community that would do such a thing.

Have heard of 90 size helis going walkabouts at some of the bigger comps down south too....

That is terrible. I will keep an eye out on ebay. It is hard to imagine they could move this stuff very easily without using something like ebay. Bastards!
