Everyone is welcome to the one and only Kansas ProBro!!!!
We have moved the event from last years site to an even better location. The Franklin County Flyers of Wellsville Kansas has opened their field for our use. This is private airport that is currently only used for R/C. It's a huge field with both a North/South and East/West runway. There's lots of room for camping. We will fly all day Friday and Saturday with lights for nightime foamy action. The field will be available for flying Sunday if anyone wants to stay, but I will won't be able to attend (work sucks!). Friday night we will probably take up a collection and run into town and pick up Pizza's. Saturday lunch will be cooked by the club at a nominal fee. A Catered BBQ Supper will be provided for each pilot on Saturday night. Landing fee of $20.00 include's the BBQ Supper. For any questions please e-mail me at funflyr@juno.com Lots and Lots of Prizes will be Raffled off. Directions From KC: South on I-35 to exit 193, turn right and go approx. 2.5 miles to stop sign (road tees) ,turn right, go to first road on left, turn left and go 1 mile (Stafford RD) turn right and go approx. 1/2 mile, field is on the right (at BIG wind sock), turn right in between the 2 ponds, down grass runway to the R/C field! Here's the local Motel Info: (Ottawa is just a few minutes away) Days Inn Ottawa - www.daysinn.com 1641 South Main, Ottawa - (785) 242-4842 Comfort Inn - www.comfortinn.com I-35 exit 183, 2335 Oak Street, Ottawa - (785) 242-9898 Econo Lodge-Ottawa - www.econolodge.com 2331 South Cedar, Ottawa - (785) 242-3400 |
