Default HELP IDENTIFY THIS PLANE

Hi everyone, I have had this plane for a few months now and the guy I got it from didnt know anything about it except that it takes a G-62 for a motor. I am wondering if any one knows the name of the plane and maybe the company that made the kit and or arf. I doubt it was an arf thou beacuse it looks like it was built up.

Thanks for the Help!
Jon

is it wood or foam construction? It is about the right size to be a byron if it is foam.

Hey Jon,

I'm not sure what it is, but it looks like a plane that you should give to me to replace my destroyed Ulti.

I believe he did. Week's Solution was a hybrid of a Pitts and an Ultimate.
It looks like an Ultimate with rounded wingtips and tailfeathers.
This model looks a lot like a Solution, but you're right, the cockpit does look out of place.

The Weeks does have the cockpit at the rear and both wings are tapered.

After a bit of research and looking at many photos and 3-views, I am convinced that this is indeed a Pitts S1-SS. The Pitts S1-SS is the same as the Pitts S1-C except it has the "Super Stinker" aileron technology. It has four ailerons as you see here in this model.
Have a look at this link.
