Default Hitec servo screws keep coming loose

Hi Guys how do you stop those hitec machined servo screws from vibrating loose. It only happens now and again.

I use the Micro-Fasteners brand hex head screws for starters. I put a touch of blue loctite on and a dab of silicon on the top when I'm all done. I like the way you can tighten down the hex heads without putting any downward pressure on the plane.

hey mark.....i'm sure others here will give you some great advice. as far as what i do for srews coming loose is to use just a drop of silicone on the end of the screw. It doesn't lock them in there like what "Lock tight" does but it's just enough usually to keep the screw from backing out. make sure to put the drop on the end of the screw , and then screw it all the way into the servo , and seat it down just like you normally would. When it cures it'll be wrapped around the screw thread and the inside servo threads. This works on a bunch of things too like canopy screws as well. things like motor bolts and so forth , you should be using the blue lock tight. Hope that helps.
