Wayne what was wrong with the engine? Mine is doing the same thing with the flutter again. We found out it only does it at half throttle. Could it be from the engine reg?

Hope you guys dont mind me jumping in your thread....

I have property just down the road from the Aerodrome. When I was coming out Friday I saw your signs for the Air Show. I thought to myself - where in the world is an airshow? Followed them and what a great surprise! At one time I few a .40, so it was great to see those giants! Watched for a couple of hours Saturday. Also came back Sunday for the freestyle, but you turkeys finished up early! (Hey - I understand some of you guys had to get back because of the weather - hope that turned out ok).

Anyway - my family had a great time! I wanted to share the pictures I took in case you are interested.

PS - now I know what that funny sound is I kept hearing in the morning while sitting outside drinking coffee

I am glad you found your new neighbors. John is one of the greatest guys I have ever meet. Make sure you go by and tell him who you are. Like ROn said thanks for putting up with use, for the long weekend. I am glad your family had a good time. Thats what this hobby is all about, family and lots of fun.

a couple of quick notes;

it was fun to be able to share in this event, even as a spectator! it was never my intention to post pictures, but when Marian started sending me pictures from the field on Wenesday and making me jealous I decided to share them with our FG friends. we just rolled with it from there! so, lets give a BIG THANK YOU to Marian Berninger. you know her as NCFRgal here on Giants. she is a HUGE asset to us in the North Central Region. you will see her calling for many Unlimited pilots and Judging all the lower classes and Freestyle at every IMAC contest, running concessions and supporting her husband Will. she was also judging at the XFC this past year. she is always ready to jump in and lend a hand of whatever is asked of her, even if she does'nt always get the thanks she deserves.



another THANK YOU to Will for the pictures and updates from the field, Wayne and Mike Bargman for the pictures, updates and SCORES! and all the others that posted updates and making those of us that could not be there feel like we were a part of the excitement!!

also, I have been totally mobile all weekend. all of the pictures (up until this morning) were sent to me and I then posted from my BlackBerry wireless phone. what a cool piece of technology. to be able to read and post while sitting at the field, shopping at the grocery store, sitting on the pot.....errr...nevermind.

Thanks for the props Hubb--I had a blast trying to keep up--especially at the end with all of the pics of the winners on the podium. I wish I could have done more but with judging and calling I was rather busy. BTW, thanks for not posting one of the many pictures you have of me at inopportune times!!

So do you Don!! It was nice seeing Stephen at the contest this weekend. He's a good kid! He was the first pilot in the air for this contest--that's why I snapped his picture on Friday.
