I like it !! Never occured to me to use a Carlon PVC box to mount it all to. I've been trying to make time to build my own fueler this season and it's looking more and more like a Winter project. I have two pumps a Kavan (I think) and a Sig gas passer NIB. Your fueler looks like what I want.

My friends all use gravity feed systems, old B&B fuel tank with a fuel nipple near bottom. Fuel ine on bottom nipple connects to plane durning fueling, and then to vent nipple at top of tank when finished. They just sit tank atop cowl and let gravity do all the work! cheapest system I ever seen.

I will check tonight. I have one still in the package on the wall.
Note: Since first creating my setup I added a second filter. Just got lazy with removing the first. So my fuel is double filtered. The 2nd filter is the one I have on the wall as Autozone didn't have that one in the pic in stock anymore.

Your right Jersey does make a nice can. But cheaper cans are not always cheap in quailty. We have decided to make a top quailty can for a more affordable price to so that the average modeler could have a nice product with out breaking the bank.
3 individuals compaired our cans with two other well know brand and ours was rated as high of quility if not better due to us offering a true 10 cell 12v Nimh battery They rated them in performance, quality and craftsmanship. |
