Can you use a mini servo on a 50CC setup?
Has anybody tried it/
I would be worried since the vibration might cause it to fail.

Had two Hitec Mini digitals 5245 one from another plane with probably 100 flights, one new fail in my 50.c.c A.W. Extra 300, not sure if it was just bad luck or vibrations or something else? Use ball links on both ends of 4-40 rod. switched to Hitec 7955 I had already and no problems since. Little overkill perhaps but real exciting having throttle servo fail in flight at full throttle, smartfly ignition enabled me to line her up for landing and killed her on approach, nearly run out of runway but made it. I am sure less powerfull servo would also work and I have heard of other guys using mini digi's without problems, maybe I just had bad luck. Running on A123's, JR 921 reciever unregulated.

i tried it once, and took the 5245 about 30 flights before failure. i use full size metal gear servo's now. for the extra 1/2 ounce worth every bit for the safety

I like the Align DS610 servo. They are around $60 and have titanium gears, .08 at 6v and faster on unregulated lipo.

I am using a Hi-Tech 5085mg digi. I split some fuel tubing, acts like a dampener between the servo & hard mount.

This one looks like a good choice.
How many flights do you have on it? What size airplane?
I'll try to pick one tomorrow @ RCX.
