Default "SANTA CLAUS" extreme flight 88" yak build thread.

Ok well here is the story.

Almost 3 years ago I won a color scheme contest on this site. The host of the contest was aerotech. (John) john said the winner would get a 50cc yak arf with the winning color scheme. Well after about two years of waiting on this yak and a bunch of phone calls and emails he never came threw. I later found out that just about all that he said was a bunch of lies. Well madmax and craven decided to hold a fundraiser for me and the other winner, after a couple hours there was enough money to get two extreme flight 88" yaks. So a big thanks to CHRIS HINSON, @ EXTREME FLIGHT for giving a great deal on the two planes. Well then I get a email from Scott from brillelli engines saying that he is going to send me a motor for my plane. Well a month or two went by and then he called me saying he has been in the hospital with kidney probs. at the same time I was in the hospital with kidney problems, so I could feel for him lol. Well he has gone out of business and from what I understand is doing better health wise, which im really glad to hear. Well after that a group of guys that want to be known as "SANTA CLAUS" got together and are sending every thing I need to get this plane done. I want to thank all of u guys so much because u guys really don’t have to do this!!! I want to thank Dave Johnson of Desert Aircraft, Chris Hinson of Extreme flight, and Horizon hobby for helping. And once again I want to THANK the group that wants to go by "SANTA CLAUS”!!!!!!!!!!! Well so now im going to start the build thread lol. and a thanks to madmax!

So after one day of helping my dad work on the plane we have the elevators done!!!

My dad and I can’t believe how nice of a plane this is. every thing on this plane is top notch. It goes together very easy.
And it’s really big!!!

Well here are a few pics of what is done so far : )

Thanks again to all that have helped!!!

It makes me really happy and glad I am in this hobby to see how the community came together and made this right for Casey. Especially you Craven who took the initiative to make this happen.

Casey,

Your design looks awesome great job! Its too bad Aerotech didn’t stand by their promise that’s a crummy way of doing business.

I would like to sweeten the pot a little for you and offer our graphic services for your new Yak.

You obviously have some graphics ability and talent; you did such a great job for Aerotech and never got to see your graphics on a real plane. If you would like to come up with a design for your EF Yak we will produce it and ship them to you ready for you to install. Or we can supply you with one of our own designs?

Either option is complimentary from Russell Sign Company and Fly It Like It’s Free.com
Since this whole ordeal started with graphics you should at least be able to have the graphics for your new plane.

I have attached a picture of a recent EF Yak we completed with our inferno design. This particular graphic kit we installed however we will work with you to get you what you want.

Feel free to call or email me with any questions.
