Well it wont be too long I wont be a 3D Teen or kid anymore. Currently 19 now. I made it down to Embry-Riddle okay and so far enjoying my first year of college. Hopefully I will make it out of here in one piece!!! Hope everyone here is doing great. I havnt been on here much lately due to school. I occaionally scan the threads but dont post a lot on all the threads.

Flying time has cut down on me but I still manage to get in some flights on the weekends!!!

Hey, first few weeks of school is a great time to put the flying on the back burner for a bit. Get to know people and see what the campus and school life has to offer. The best thing I did last year was get involved in student organizations. Especially at Riddle, you're surrounded by people of common interest. You'll still find time to fly.

Good luck!

good to know you got there and are getting settled in. Good luck with your new school year and all that will come with it.

I'll be on campus Homecoming week doing a show in the CAP. Be sure to come over and say hello.

Until then.... hit the books!

You should say hello to my friend Holly. She is one of the RA's there. I think she is a senior or will be a senior this year. A heck of a pilot too from what I hear.

So far scheduling isnt a problem. My first flight is Friday at this school I have 30 hours already in a airplane. There is just a lot of studying to be done since I am taking Private and Instrument this semester.

Kevin - Congrats on getting into Embry!! That is my dream to go there for Aerospace Engineering, but being in Oregon and 27 with a family I think it will be most difficult. How were admissions for you, was it the only place you applied to or?? What kind of GPA do you have to have to get in?? Sorry for the 20 ?'s!!
