This seems to be a really nice airplane! I was planning to get a Comp-arf Extra 260, but now I changed my mind. Did anyone try it with a DA85? I am guessing that the DA85 should fit inside the cowling without any problems, but does anyone know for sure?

Hi. I think that this one has DA85.
http://www.krill-model.com/eu/en/ind...=140&design=92
and I got this answer from IVO when I asked about using the MVVS 80.
"we have now experiences with 100 ccm engines and the DA85 ccm only. So customers which use DA85 must install all battery pack front to nose and haven´t problem with the CG. If the MVVS have similar weight it will be ok. "

Yepp, everything up front to keep it from getting tail heavy. Looks like everything fits nicely inside the cowl. Have you decided to go with the MVVS 80? What canister are you going to use?

According to MVVS they have not finished their testing of the int 80 canisters so I will probably use RE3 pipe with some modification to the fuselage.

No limitz what degrees of side/up/down thrust do fly with for serius IMAC flying.

Now finally my SU29 is next in line ! I have finished my F3A SPARk, finished my ORIONMODEL VELOX 2,2m.

I have changed my mind about powerplant to this plane, i noticed if a single cylinder 80-85 where used all batteries etc etc should be up front to have CG placed correct.

This is the engine that I will use

Hi No Limitz

After built this plane on one week I founf just one problem with this plane.
when using DA100 the left ignition spark touch the cowl and make hole when flying.
the right trust is good so the down trust too.

Daniel

I mean the down and the right angle of the engine is perfect. the engine is placed in the middle and touch the cowl when fly.

Daniel!

Hi Guys,
Have been looking at this bird for a while now. I wonder how much trouble would it be to mount twin cans (DA100)? Would there be any issue with heat effecting the fuse sides (i had this problem once).

One silly question - this seems to have the same hinging as Comp Arf - does it make the same 'screech' like a compy in a snap-roll ???

Thanks
