Mine where also leaning forward a bit. I think ideal (for me at least) is slightly ahead of tube.

Anybody been experimenting with wing incidence? Wood be interesting to hear effect on knife edge.

Ulf

If you flew F3A you will know changing just slightly will have effect on this, but also moving the LATERAL CG up or down have big influence.
Us who will be using electric power have a much better chance to get the CG spot on and have KE without any bad habbits.
I think we can have a chat about this later in this year, hopefully we meet to the Nordic Championships.

It is a bit difficult to make big changes in lateral CG up/down if you don't have those heavy batteries. My thinking is that you should have some positive incidence on wing like +0,5.
So you will be competing for Denmark in the Nordic Champs? Nice!

I am wrapping this plane up and i am ready to fly it this weekend.I wanted to ask you guys two questions before i do it though.Ok,when i bolted the prop on i noticed a pritty heavy amount of flex in the fire wall....Now i know there is always a bit of flex, this just seems a bit much. The other thing i was a bit open eyed about was the amount of flex in the stabs....Talk to me guys.

I'd say just fly it and see!

Mine was a very early one, so don't know if there have been some improvements but on the positive side the motor didn't try and break free nor the stabs have any sort of failure. I've actually sold mine on now though.........

I here ya Andrew.....I am just kind of curious what everybody else has going on.Everytime i build a new plane,i kind of act like an excpecting mother, double check everything 5 times and ask a million questions Have you had a chance to get the 39% SU up in the air ?????

Yea - got the big one up before xmas and have 12 flights on it when I was in the US. I've been back in the UK for the last couple of months which is when I picked up the 33%. Honestly it looks like the 39% is a big evolution of the 33% - if you put them side by side they look very different. Really happy with the 39% even at this early stage but will admit to life being better now I've moved the 33% version on and started flying an airtrade 2.7 Raven instead.

Well..........I stayed up tell 3 in the morning doing the final touch ups to get the SU29 ready for this morning, and i am glad to say that the Maiden went off without a glitch It felt great from the second i hit the gas.The plane did not take one click of trim and passed all the trim tests with flying colors. After a couple passes to check the straight, invert, upline, downline, and 45....I hit the high rates and ran it through the flat spins, knife spins, and lots of rollers, and all i can say is that i just dig this plane.......I mean whats not to love,it flies on rails, and flip the switch and its a 3d beast......and i really like the way it looks in the air, much nicer then it looks on the bench .The part i like the most is that in typical Krill fasion,i did the maiden in 25mph winds and it did not even faze this plane.
