Dong,

so you don't want DL...fine,
MVVS is a bit on heavy side, 116 out of question..fine
that pretty much leaves you with choice of DA,3W, ZDZ and perhaps few others.
You will very likely damage the engine by hitting the ground before it wears out....wouldn't worry about this.
All these companies have excellent service if needed, so it pretty much comes to personal preference and to a price...and only you can answer this.
Good luck , I'm sure you will love this plane with either engine......

Thanks for your answer! What was total weight of airframe itself- w/o electronics and engine?

I want to get the one, that doesn't bother me with problems. So how is DA on it? Enough? Maybee you've got a video of a vert. performance out of hoover? So you think MVVS will be overkill? What i like about it, is that ConJet needle system, and fuel distribution over cylinders.
About ZDZ's, i have 50cc one, well, it runs fine, everything is good, but i don't like the weight of it, it's just way too heavy as 50cc'er, and the quality of casting didn't impress me at all for money I spent on it.

Uuuhhh..not sure where you are getting your information from , but you wrong. the DL 100 has been bought , ran and proven to be a very , very good engine that costs about $400.00 less than a DA! You should take some time and do some searches on threads concerning these motors......nothing but good things to say about it. It's just like the DL 50 so many guys on here run...awesome! Don't count out a motor because you nothing about it , and i wouldn't be slamming on a motor like you just did with no information saying that it's a "less of a motor than DA"..........get your facts strait before you post something like that dude.

Dron,
airplane with DA 100+mufflers+spinner was 22lbs and 7 oz.
DA 100...5.8lbs
Mufflers...+/- 6ozs?
Spinner...depends...3-5oz?

I wouldn't, if i didn't have experience with china engines, they all run, my point is not to say that they don't run, but the quality of all parts.. Don't consider me dumb in engines, i've grown on engines- speedmodellcars, controlline airplanes, etc, and so on. I know pretty much about engines, to be able to judge the engine for it's internals. So please before you say something like that- open your engine, examine- compare, and then say something against my opinion. Here's one example- my first gas engine: http://fotki.lv/DronN/378863/ And the rebuild of it, to get atleast something out of it: http://fotki.lv/DronN/451084/ I haven't posted any of pics, where new ports were made. Have a nice day trough. + Ive read, looked, collected all info on DL engine's, so clicky, clicky on needle bearing on crancshaft after 4 gal or so makes me decide not to get the DL. + Ofcourse materials used.
Thanks NoLimitz, what lipo (a123 or other) batteries and powerbox would you reccomend- Powerbox, or PowerExpander, or other brand? What is the best system of shutting down the engine (w/o closing carb ofcourse?)

Dong,
right now I use NiCd, but over winter I will probably switch to A123.
I do believe for this size airplane you don't need any power boxes. I use 8 digital servos, but they are only about 130- 140 oz and I have never experience any problems. I like to keep things simple...
As to shutting down engine, I would put a servo on choke or use one of those optic kill switches.
Personally I use throttle trim for this.
Keep in mind,it's all those small gadgets that will add up and airplane will gain weight.

Today I did try some harriers.
Upright...wings are rocking a bit, but when I release elevator a bit, it stops.
Inverted harrier....rock solid.
Torque roll...in my opinion easier then their Katana ..pull out is no issue, with DA and flying weight...no surprises.
Also I have moved CG further back and I think it's better.Right now it's right behind the wing tube.
I have one question to you guys..right now my engine sticks out about 1" in front of the cowl.Should I try move it out even more? What is going to change?...just curious.

Nice job on the wheel pants!
Could you measure the length between the front of the main wheels and the back of the rudder?
And how much does this length get shorter when the rudder is maximum deflected?

Joeri, if it does not fit in your car you can take the rudder of very easy it takes less then 2 minutes.

Joeri,
from the back of rudder to axles it's 194cm.When rudder is fully deflected, it's 189cm.
Yes rudder can be removed, but not as easy...this time rudder pin is inserted from the bottom and it is sort of "blocked " by tail wheel.

Hey No Limitz,

Can you tell me how strong the tank tray is? I have one of these coming in the next month and its electric, so it will have 12s2p 9800 packs on it.

I'm hoping for 28lbs AUW with 8.5KW, ie 11hp

Thanks
Ian

1 little hole in the tailwheel and that is fixed ;-)

Ian, maybe you can ask Ivo to not install the tank tray yet. I guess it will be better to make something else for you battery...
