Default 4 aileron programming 9c help

I have 4 ailerons on my ultra stick. I have them mixed so they all operate together when switch B is down. Then, when I flip switch B up it is only the outer two. Now how do I get the center two to drop as flaps when switch B is up?
Basically, I'm trying to get my flaps to operate with ailerons, but then switch to dedicated flaps with the flip of a switch. I'm not looking for flaperons. I gave up on the crow mix..I'm lost, but I cant get the flaps to program either.

Check Futaba's website for the airbrake programming. I had an ultra stick and it is possible to get it to work but I erased the plane when I sold it. I used Futaba's website as a starting point. I used one three postion switch(c): middle for outer ailerons,up for both ailerons and down for airbrake. Never tried to use just flaps though. Hope this helps

Ive been reading for hours. I still don't get it. I've used the US manual, the futaba 9c manual, and the FAQ site, but I'm just more confused. I tried to setup the crow and air brakes, but only one aileron operated as an aileron. I gave up and decided to just try flaps coupled with ailerons on one switch. I have the coupling part done..now how do I get them to be flaps?

I think you need to program seperate channels for the inner and outer ailerons(2 channels and not 4). From there you need to setup flaps and spoilerons seperately.

9c super
Right now I have ail 1 on 1 and ail 2 on 5. Then 6 and 7 are my flaps. I tried 1 and 7, and and 6 too. It's not difficult to mix the flaps conditionally (on and of with a switch), but I cant get the flaps to only act as flaps (no flaperons) when no being used as ailerons.

use y connectors and attact ailerons 1 and 4(outboard) on one channel.( I would use channel 5) do the same to 2 and 3.( I would use channel 1) from here, you can use the inboard as flaps or the out board. You'll have to do some programming for it though.(simple stuff) One thing that might help would be to program the plane as a sailplane. That might help with wing function.

It should be pretty straightforward to do using a glider 4 servo wing setup. Select Glider, then plug in all the channels. (read the manual for corect plug #s) The crow or butterfly braking option will allow you to lower flaps and raise ailerons for landing, while also giving you the flaperon options yo desire normally when the crow mix is switched off. One thing though, you would need to assign the crow function to a slider and not leave it mixed to throttle as is the case with the glider guys.

I use all the features you have described and need on my contest F3J gliders, as well as full span flaperon on all 4 surfaces. The difference is just that I use the throttle for crow braking were you need to reassign to a slider.

Good luck.
