I C U have a CT. Tom Guttman at our local airport has a distributorship for those. I see about 5 different ones a month now that they are coming back in for annuals and "repairs".

I've seen Patty Wagstaff put on an aggressive show in her Extra, but the most aggressive I ever saw was Peter Besenyei in his Extra flying in the Breitling World Cup. This was a case of the pilot more so than the aircraft. Second would go to Xavier de Lapparent in his CAP 231 EX. One of the most amazing tumbling routines ever.

Gotta second the thought of a modified Pitts based airplane being capable of being the most agressive.....

Makes sense that the 'each to his own' philosophy wins out in the end.

Just like in RC.

From a competition standpoint, the Sukhoi (both 26 and 31) and the Cap have far and above the most wins Internationally over the last 25 years. As we go forward, I expect those two, the new Extra 330SC, the Edge 540, and the Mx2 to all be very competitive. In reality, at that level, the best pilot usually wins. Not all that different from IMAC.

Bob Herendeen! ... been trying to remember his name for 2 weeks now. That dude was badass big time back in his day. I got him on VHS abusing the hell out of a Pitts Special.

Kirby has no EGO whatsoever does he? You look at the sports heros that define the mega-stars like Tiger or a Michael Jordan, but after listening to an aerobatic pilot like Kirby, you would think the search is over to find greatness. He, like his other Red Bull pilots are great pilots without doubt. I wish they were more of a "prime time" spectator sport like.....Nascar. Red Bull is doing its part, and Rocket Racing league might help. We'll see.

Goulian's got a big ego too, just listen to him the interviews. I guess big egos go with the territory.

Egos and arrogance with full scale pilots period. It runs rampant throughout the breed. From ultralight to F-22 they are all great, just ask them

HAHA!! Sheeesh pat! things are getting brutal in here.

On a side note....i'm glad some great pilots have visited and posted to this thread. Hopefully it stays alive. I always enjoy hearing opinions of some of the great guys in the full scale sport and the RC hobby.
