Hi Pani,

yes thats what puzzled me also, the zdz is quite lite so is the DA, i have no added weight at all for balance im lipos and jr switches one reg to rx only, other straight 7.4 to ign. Ive gone carbon rods and superlite weight fitting all round, carbon rudder arm etc some people though pani have posted weights from 13 to 17.5 so even i cant figure it out.

The glow version looks way underpowered in the vids, something like the ys 170 would get the thing moving on glow.....

Mine flies like the da50 vids power wise vertical like a rocket im never at even half throttle knife edge etc. Im convinced its the prop at 21x8 the fact the motor is what 1/2 inch past the recommended prop hub front position. Or i just have one sweet motor!!!!!

Ive still got my QQ 86 DA50 and have just bought a python with zdz 80 so have enough planes. The gp is a throw about plane and will not fly once the weather improves here till next winter if it lasts.

Anyway i have the 58 ef extra and my mate has the 88 and yes it flies awesome, has better energy retention than the yak through manouvers. EF have the new 78 extra out soon so i can see the zdz going in that plane.

Cheers

MARK

Well,

thats flight 40ish and its buzzing, im enjoying this plane too much its harrier rolling circle, and high alpha knife edge galore. Pops in the hover, then again iam 1" behind c of g.

To be honest its a blast and the zdz 40 has mad power, im hovering under half throttle so you DA50 guys how do you keep them wings on. Build it lite fly hard.

Go Go Gp Yak

It may be fat but it flies damn well.
