Default Re: 35% Carden 330 need work

Who built the plane?

I can't speak from experience on your plane, but I believe that the main structure will not be hurt by cutting a hatch into the sheeted foam. The strength comes from the "truss" structure. That and I've seen a couple cardens with a hatch back there.....

When it comes to the wing, hardpoints, etc can be a pain to deal with. I cannot believe that a pro builder would do that to you. If it's were my plane, I would probably set the wing up as it's built, and go over throws, etc. with a fine tooth comb. On my 9303, there's a feature for programming in different points on the throws. That came in handy for me because I have the same problem on my elevator servos. If you intend to fly a high level of precision with the plane, I would get new wings built, if not, mix it out.

Hope this helps,
Chris
