Yeah the real one lifted off pretty much horizontally like the B-52 does. Turned out that one of the guys helping him to assemble the plane at the field forgot to put a screw into the outer half of the wing. Worse part was that the guy that built the plane for him had passed away a month earlier. Really a shame and a great loss to the RC community.

 It's a shame that this thing went down. It' was such a cool and BIG plane. Now that's a true Flying Giant, and went out with style.
