You may want to include a Dalton and Godfrey in your list of copy cat pictures Chris. I think maybe the Godfrey designs were out before any of these!!! By the way I have a Carden 300 and Aerotech 300 different planes in shapes and sizes.

What do you mean by this? Both of these are totally different construction.

Rob,

Get John out of the equation and I can honestly say, YES, I would try another Aerotech kit.

I built one...and only one.....Aerotech. The build went well, the design seemed solid, the plane flew fantastic. It was a bit on the heavy side...but as others have said, (and you know by experience) they can be made lighter.

Get John 100%, totally, forever out of the picture....and improve the quality of the 'glass.....and I would be very interested in trying another.

Jason

I think "Sleepy's Custom Super Bad Ass Aero-speedwagon TOC TAS Planes" sounds better.

rob just be sure and try to keep the prices in the general area.dalton and carden are on the top end of the price scale but are fine aircraft, aeroworks is in about the low high end so it is a little better for the working man,you know what i mean so just try to not make all your money back all at once.good luck and i for one will support you

It's always good to have more kit options as long as you can count on the integrity of the ownership. I hope Aerotech gets bought by someone we can trust. More options are good for us.

I totally agree with you on the pricing. The price will go up but, all kits will include carbon wing tube and stab tube and the necessary hardware to complete the build. They will be priced to sell.
There's still work to be done. I've called a guy that does fiberglass and I'm talking to a guy about canopy's. I also have the plans for a very large vacuum former to make canopy's so I'm looking at building one of those. This may take awhile so please bare with me.
Please let me make this very clear, in no way am I trying to compete with Tony Russo. He is a very close friend of mine and in no way will i jeopardise my friendship with him. This is not a get rich business and that's not what I'm trying to do. there is a big gap in the airplane kit business and John has some nice planes that i think will sell very well and from the response from you guys so far it looks like this is a direction i might go in. Rob

Is that supposed to be a joke? Any fool that's ever seen one of the two could tell that the one on the right is the Aerotech. Or was it the one on the left???
