We have not designed a tiller arm for the rudder, many people just connect the springs to the rudder cable arms. The best tiller arm idea I have seen is using a T-Rex 500 Horizontal Stabilizer. It is Carbon Fiber 3.5" wide and looks good. It is the smaller symetrical one in the picture. If you need a smaller one the smaller T-rex models would work.

I have seen it mounted on the bottom of the rudder with the arms swept forward to the hinge line

Ya , Sorry if you would have chimmed in just one day sooner I would have gave j&j a try. It looks like a top notch tail gear . Most of what I have seen at local fields is rc blimp and carbon gear . One of the reasons I went with the white rose is because a local flyer had gave it a shot and seemed to like it .

Can you show some photos of how it is done?

The white rose tail wheel works like a champ. I went with the rod style spring glad I did because I here the carbon spring tends to wear out. Love the white rose it has alot of bling bling. (fuel tubing for your spings is the bomb)

Why didnt you use Smaky's wheel with any CF bracket? Its totally sweet. I completely agree with the zip tie and fuel tube setup... IF you have it use surgical tube.

Are you running cans on your 260? what engine?
