Woopsy Daisy

Had a mishap at the British Freestyle Aerobatic Championships with me new 3.1m Superxtra. Got a mate repairing her for me as im naff for repaing composite here's the pic of it half a second before it went in, and some pics of the progress, it came out very lightly! with a dent in a wing a few dings in the fuz and a delaminated u/c leg.

I stalled it very low, went into harrier not enough power, im used to flying small models. Then i hit a bush followed by a metal pole and landed 2 inches behind a brick wall.

Here's the progress so far, using the compostiematerial from an old extreme composite OTOP to splice into the wing. I managed to delaminate the one u/c leg and crack the canopy, so i ordered those last week and got em in the post yesterday.

You're painter has done a great job. I can get the area seamless after a repair but then never get a match on the paint like you seem to have got.
