Default DESPERATE BRAZILLIAN FLYER

Hi Fellas

I'm from Brazil and I'm really disappointed with the kits in Brazil. It is not the quality, but the price. We have really good planes here, but they are very, very expensive. Just for an idea, an Extra 300 118" (ARF) cost around US$4500 here in Brazil, and to import it from US is almost impossible. I have talked to Denis and he told me that the cost of the shipping to Brazil of his 118" Extra would be something around US$1500. I would like to know, if there is some place with plans for this kind of plane. Beczuse in Brazil, they don't sell us the plans as well, at least for this size of plane.

TX in advanced for all of you friends

A quick trip down to Argentina should solve your problems. CA-Models makes beautiful, high quality, affordable, kits down there. You should be able to drive one across paying no duties with a little mordida, if you know what I mean.

Hey,

Tx a lot fellas

I just know Gugu in person. the models are really very very good ( as I said, the quality here is excelent), but Gugu is the one that I think too expensive... R$ 6000 without any hardware .( it is around 4000 dolars )

I have talked to our friends from CA Models, but it is really very far away from me, and we are trying to send it. The main issue is that in Argentina, we don't have ways to send 4 boxes with 3 mts to São Paulo. I'll need to get my car and travel 2000 km to buy one

Engine, servos and radio set is not my problem. I have a DA 150 and a Torch 180 on hands (Torch owner is my personal friend, and I'll probably use this engine ), and I have 6 JR8711 (enough for elevators and rudder ) , missing only few things that I always by in servo city or Tower hobbies.

Anyway , I really appreciate your help ... And hope we can fly together someday

Regards
