I had a chance to fly Robert's Python at the Fly-for-Tots last weekend. That airplane is amazing!! His has a DA-100 and power is unreal. It has a very light wingloading and responds like a foamy. I didn't fly much precision with it, but it felt very capable. If the consensus is that it flies IMAC pretty well, I might try to get one for next season...

What is this and what does it do.
If you look at the picture below, you can see that the "crow" program simultaneously raises the upper ailerons and lowers the bottom ailerons for significant aerodynamic "braking". So it's simply an airbrake. It's awesome fun!

On the JR 12X, there is a canned "4-aileron" program that allows you to plug the four aileron servos directly into the RX and have full centering and endpoint adjustment for each while still recognizing all of them as ailerons. So any mixing to ailerons affects all four. And what this allows is a simple program mix of throttle to flaperon that, if you plug in the four aileron servos in the proper order, makes them deflect outward as seen in the picture. The way Quique set it up was to have a switch turn the mix on and off. When on, the "speed brakes" open proportionally with throttle as it is reduced below half. Unfortunately, the 9303 will require several program mixes to accomplish the same thing. But I think it's possible.

It's real fun to watch the airplane decelerate on downlines!

That would be cool if it could be done on the 9303.

A Little secret here guys, not sure if this will work so don't hold me to it. On the Horizon website there is a programming listing for setting up an Ultrastick with Crow. If you look at it, I see no reason why it would not work on a Python, however I am no expert. I have asked a few people about this that have a 9303 and they "think" it would work, however none of them have tried it to date...for you guys with pythons and 9303's why not try it and see if it will work...and report back...like I said I am no expert.

On the 9303 you can't do it and have trim on the upper and lower ailerons to work together, believe me I've tried. 12X no problem, as it as you stated it has the "4-Aileron function".
