Default Slop on JR servos??

I have heard that JR will fix the slop that some times shows up in there servos. I have two JR 8611a's that are not even a year old and already started to hunt for center. One of them started doing it right out of the box and the other a few moths later. I also have a JR 8711 on my rudder that is doing the same which is less then 6 months old. When the servos are at center, they slightly move about a 1/4 of an inch or less about every few seconds. I can now notice it when I am flying since the plane doesn't hold a line very well anymore. I guess my question is where do I send these to have the repaired? Do I have to send them directly to JR? Thanks for your time........

Usually the hunting for center with no load will go away when flying.

You can send them in and they will take care of the problem. There service is great.
I would give them a call and talk to the service dept.

Yes, they will correct the servos under warranty and you should call or e-mail them first to let them know they are coming. Add the name of the contact person and the date and time of a conversation to their service order worksheet for later reference if needed. However, they are known to take care of the problem only a limited number of times. After a point they will call the problem one that came from "normal wear and tear".

JR still makes some of the best servos available when it comes to torque, centering, and resolution, but it's unfortunate they don't make the effort to correct this well known issue so the customer does not have to remove and send in their servos periodically. Of course for many that process effectively ends their flying season until the servos are returned.
