Default Free Flight Glider Towing is hilarious but FUN!!

hi everyone, first off sorry for no photos on this subject at this point i will be getting photo and video next time we do this...

wensday night i decided i would bring out my 2 ft balsa free flight glider and do a few mini histarts, so after a few ok tosses i got the idea of a running tow.. this got fun but tiring.. then my flying buddies said tow that thing with a slow stick.!! so guess what we did! i cut off a 50 ft section of my line and attacted it to the stick at the cg on the top of the wing. the hook on the glider is half inch in front of the cg so it has a big clim once it got going. so we lined the planes up into the wind and the stick pilot held tension on the line while i released my glider. it worked great i was talking to the tow flyer go left go right to counter the left turn i set on the glider. once it released i knew i was walking haha. but it proved to be a 29 second flight! with a gental left turn. ok heres where it gets fun. on our third try the glider caught a breeze and pulled hard thus folding the wing up. me looking on in shock seeing my glider falling ... then it stoped.. it was still on the tow line!! with it dangling like a windmill below the slow stick the pilot flew back almost putting the glider into our shed haha it looked like a sling load on a heli .. while this was going on everyone was laughing so hard we teared up even the slowstick pilot! this was by far the funniest thing we have done in a long time and i promise ill get a video of the next tow. sorry for long read but its hilarious! btw glider in being glued at the moment haha
mike

ps next up alula towing
