They are listed on Pilot rc website as the us distributor. I also heard from the guy who I got my kit from that they were from SD.

Let me honestly say that these guys have made upgrates to the sd kit and they are serious about there bussiness. They are launching a 39% katana soon and even offered to do a custom scheme for me. There only requirement for this .............please pay a deposite.............Hows that for good customer service. I cant wait to fly mine. BUt It will have to wait until I return from a bus trip.

My advice is pre order your kit now so you dont loose out cause these things are going to move very fast. I paid $770 dollars for mine.

Interesting, I have an SD Models 40% Yak, and the workmanship quality is better than the other arf's in our opinion. I will be watching these planes. I just wish they would learn to use CA to glue these things instead of a hot glue gun. oh, and somebody please teach these guys how to draw flames...lol

Thunder tiger now has the TOCmodels/Aviationmodels/SDmodels/TOCXtrememodels rights and have them advertised all around now. I wonder if they all come from the same manufacturer or do they all have rights to the same planes under different names.and the manufacturer hired one or more workers and added it to the shhhpiel appeal??? Check out the specs for them all. Indifferent. Colors , all different. And they all had-have top notch quality. The non flamed yak looks very very similar to one of the new Thunder tiger schemes. Thunder tiger has all the same sizes available as well as identical specs?????

The Pilot-RC airplanes are signifincantly different from SD/TT stuff, although the specs are close or the same.
Here is a new vid of the 150cc version,

Could you clarify where and what you ordered? I have two SD 260's (first gen version) and I am thinking YAK next...As stated elsewhere, Troy says no stock this year...so I'm hoping you have another source

Looks like its a little on the heavy side to me, alot of wing rocking, possibly from a heavy wing loading. .
Also this runway looks like the same one QQ did his test hop on his new 120" Yak in china. I wonder if its possibly the same manufacture.

I ordered mine from Cerebus RC www.cerebus.co.za I ordered the 35% yak in the yellow flame scheme. I am going to order the 39% Katana soon. The feedback that I have is that non of the 37.5% - 42% kits are available yet. This is feedback directly from the factory to the dealer I bought my kit from. However I dont think it will be long before these kits hit the market obviously you can see from the video that the
37.5% yak is flying I have aslo seen the Katana. The 150cc kits are 42% extra260 , 40% extra 300 , 40% extra 330 , 39% Katana , 37.5% Yak 54 . There are 100cc and 50cc versions of all these kits aswell.

For me the biggest positive here is that when ever something new gets released into the market the second batch and there after up until a point is always updated and improved. Well my Yak is model #8 so definatly 1st batch and there is nothing that can be improve this kit from my point of view.

I have read reviews on some of these yak kits where the wing tubes have failed or been to thin. I had the option of ordering mine with the carbon upgrade kit direct from the factory. But I insisted on the standard alu spec so that I can check the tube and the tube which I got is perfect dia and thickness.

Thanks for the reply Bluesky...while I have the money for another airframe, I just bought two 35% 260's so having to wait a couple months is ok.
It also looks to me like Pilot is making new aircraft - IIRC the sizes dont match SD, although they appear to be making a few "SD" designs at the moment

I noticed that too, and wondered the exact same thing.
