If you've ever seen Detroit from the Canadian side, it's a beautiful skyline. You're absolutely correct in Detroit having it's problems, but there has been steady progress in the last 10 to 15 years.

I know - lets put hi rise section 8 project housing right on the water, using what would be valuable properity for all the projects, AND WAIT! Lets add an airport that lands 5 airplanes a day and use up the entire lake shore by the down town district.. YEA! Then we can hold 1 Grad Prix a year and claim it's valuable to the city.

OH oh.. and lets make every building in the downtown area into really expensive condos that no one in the city can afford, and then put no shopping, or grocery stores in! AND, lets close all the available downtown shops at 6 pm, so there is NO reason for anyone to actually STAY downtown after 6!!!

Man Sleepy, I'm sorry to hear that. I hate to see people mess up a cool city like that. Toledo used to be a sweet place to go bar hoppin', back in the day. Now it seems like it's just a place to "go through" on the way down South.

I think in this world, if you suck at every available skill, you are not intelligent enough to find a carrear, and you are known as the biggest BS'er in the land, the political world opens its arms and welcomes a new "brother" into the flock.

Oh well... everyone bitches about politicians, but most never take the time to vote and change things.

Suspossedly our "leaders" are elected.. so the power is in our hands (sort of) but it seems like we don't use it.
