The 101" QQ Yak is on sale until Dec 15 for $749. I am trying to convince my wife I need one! Here is the link: http://www.qqaircraft.com/planes.asp...&s_PLANE_CAT=j

Aeroworks makes very good airplanes too. That 260 should be a very nice plane too.

I just lost my AW 75cc Extra sunday. I had it almost a year. Awesome awesome plane!! I had the orginal red/white scheme from the very first shipment. Power was crazy!! I was running a MTW 110 rear exit can. It fit perfect in the supplied mount. I looked at the PAU Edge, QQ yak, and others. I decided to stick with what I knew. I called Monday to order another AW Extra but wound up ordering there new 85cc YAk! It has a little more wing area and a full exhaust tunnel for a Greev's tuned pipe among other things. Best part is a new red and white scheme!!

The Quick Build part of the AW is awesome. Pre-hinged, pilot holes for the horns, canopy attached, etc...

FYI: my extra went in at a 45 degree downline from a mile high(dead stick/lock out). The plane looked really good from 20ft away. Had lots of internal damage but it was still in one pc. The motor box was solid as a rock after the crash!! All who saw it were really impressed!! We grabbed it by the wings and hauled it to the pits.

I'll second the 101" QQ Yak, as a matter of fact I'm ordering mine tomorrow. Good luck on your choice, there are numberous good airplanes out there, pick one and fly it like you stole it....

Oh dude sorry, a few months ago I tanked my extreme flight extra in a similar fashion, i think due to a battery brown out, nothing worse than watching it go in, its like getting kicked in the nuts till you pass out.

The AW 85 Yak has an awesome scheme!

Other suggestions would be the Wildhare 40% Giles, EF 110" Yak, QQ101, PAU 35% Edge, etc.

I'm just finishing up the Troybuilt 33% 95" span TOC extreme Extra 260, which is on sale for $ 450.00. It's already set up to mount the DA85 which I'm using. It is a very nice ARF. Mine weighs 22 lbs dry. It would make a good choice. Stan Hagerstown, MD

The Oct. 2008 issue of Model Aviation. Troybuilt ad shows it on page 92. you may have to call them to see if they will continue to offer it. Stan
