What size and style build. If it is in the 30% (+) range it might have been Eagle Aviation from the late 90's. The origanl Troy Built models also had one in the 70" range in the early 2000's.

The full-scale DR-107 One Design was TINY. The 80" ws makes this plane about 34% scale.
It may have been an Ultrasport RC kit (or was it Ultimatesport ?) with the foam wing and ply/balsa fuse.

CG at 28% of MAC for the first flights. Move back to suit your style from there.

The wings are build up wings, no foam cores on this one.

38-percent One Design from Eagle Aviation, 4573 Lamme Rd., Dayton, OH 45439; (513) 2961290. Designed by Frank Noll, this model is available as a ready-to-cover model, a full kit and a semi-kit. It has an 89-inch span, is 80 inches long and is well suited to 3 to 4ci gas engines. A fiberglass engine cowl and wheel pants and a formed canopy are also included.

I know the TBM models were built up wings using Foam ribs/jig built. I have one of the staudachers. Not sure of the One design though

TBM's One Design was smaller than this, and the Eagle Aviation model was larger.

I have that issue, I will dig it out later. IIRC that was a bit smaller though, more like a 72" span and built-up wing.
