Any videos of the E-toc flights posted yet?

There's a few on RCgroups. I guess the rights to it were disputed though, and a DVDs coming out. That's really the only way to see it, from what I hear.

From what I hear, it will be on a DVD and be really AMAZING!

The lack of videos is clearly an attempt to make more money when the DVD comes out. I only wish the people producing the video, and NOT LETTING ANYONE ELSE TAKE VIDEOS, would consider the SPORT and not their pocket books. You have left a bitter taste in the mouths of those who you want to buy the video. Shame on you!

Sleepy the diff is you could have just kept the dvd rights and al;lowed other sites to post vids like they all ways do The DVD still makes money without hurting the hobby . see just like that

Hi guys, apologies for the late response here. This past week has been pretty hectic, and I've been spending Easter weekend with the family offline.

Everyone by this time knows that FlyingGiants will be producing our first DVD of the event, and we are all very excited about what we are putting together. We will have a trailer of the video posted later this week, and final post editing should be complete within 3-4 weeks. More information will follow.

As always with every event we attent, we will be posting videos on the website regardless if we will be producing a DVD or not. We have been working fevereshly on tearing through over 35 hours of tape, and getting back into the swing of things from the long weekend.

In the meantime, we have been re-playing the live stream for our members to enjoy. This week we will be posting the freestyle videos on the Best of The Giants page, keep an eye out for them.

Also, ScottC, welcome to our little place on the net. I appreciate your comments, a quick look around the site will show you that we are absolutely dedicated to the hobby and our community at large.

Afterthought edit: If you have any video that you filmed at the event, we encourage sharing them with our community in the E-TOC and E-X Games media gallery - located here.

Pat Mackenzie has some nice footage (originally shot in HD) . Hes putting some over on RCG. Ill post a link but want to check Im not "treading on toes" with the DVD n stuff . Let me know either way .

Hi Flash, we strongly encourage members that have any videos, photos, and stories from the e-toc to post to FlyingGiants forums and galleries. Our crew would love to see this stuff, and it's great information for our community. Personally, I look forward to them also as I pretty much had my face burried in a viewfinder all weekend. If Pat's got this stuff, tell him to get on over here and post 'em! I'll even send him a hat for his efforts.

Just to be clear - we're not going to nuke any E-TOC content that's posted here on FG in an attempt to sell dvd's - that's would be pretty transparent and lame, and you guys know us better than that. We're working fevereshly right now creating the first series of an entirely new style of DVD event coverage. Both Bob and I are very excited about this endeavor, and we promise not to disappoint.

Please accept our apologies if this caused any confusion. Like I mentioned a few posts up, we'll be posting freestyle segments this week.
