Default 40% Carden Extra 330s mid wing 1ST time build

This is my first time building a stick kit and I picked the 40% to do it. Any info would be welcome. I will post update and pics as the build goes through the winter.

If I were you, I'd extend the ailerons a little further down. Looks like you are doing good.

The ailerons are 45" as per the manual. How long did you make yours?

I think you need more tape on those wing skins. Kidding you know. I love build threads. Keep the pics coming, looks great.

You can extend them down as far as you want. I have mine three inches from the root. Makes for more aileron in the prop wash. Thats the only thing I modify.

Well had some problems ouf the china ARF Hangar 9 Carden. The pre glued elevator hinges came out on the first flight. These plane are truely not Carden Quality. I do not think Caroline and Denise are to happy with the final results.
