This is my first time building a stick kit and I picked the 40% to do it. Any info would be welcome. I will post update and pics as the build goes through the winter.

If I were you, I'd extend the ailerons a little further down. Looks like you are doing good.

The ailerons are 45" as per the manual. How long did you make yours?

![]() Yea but aall that tape will be handy when i glue the skin down with the gorilla glue. More pics in a day or two I hope.

I'm watching, just ordered the 40% 300 Midwing myself last week..... Good luck w/ your project..... Did you go w/ the CNC engine box or the stock one? |

You can extend them down as far as you want. I have mine three inches from the root. Makes for more aileron in the prop wash. Thats the only thing I modify.

No I did not go with the CNC motor box but I wish I did after seeing the pics of it. I will try to router it out my self.

Well had some problems ouf the china ARF Hangar 9 Carden. The pre glued elevator hinges came out on the first flight. These plane are truely not Carden Quality. I do not think Caroline and Denise are to happy with the final results.
